Aluma Speaker
Description
The Aluma Speaker was developed in partnership with "phoniq audio," a company specialising in high-end, custom-built sound systems. Inspired by 1960s theatre sound, the Aluma Speaker blends vintage aesthetics with modern audio technology to provide exceptional sound quality for professional studios and home environments. The speaker body is crafted in our atelier from 6mm thick aluminium.
Technical specifications:
Aluma features high-end, Italian manufactured drivers and state-of-the-art amplification care of Dutch manufacturer Hypex (NCore). The 12” woofer from B&C features a 3.5” voice coil and long linear excursion, delivering effortless dynamics and low-frequency authority, and a silky, distortion-free lower midrange. The 1” exit compression driver from Faital couples to a proprietary standalone horn, providing lightning-fast dynamics and constant, wide coverage in both the horizontal and vertical planes. The high-precision, linear-phase crossover ensures seamless integration of the woofer and horn, resulting in superb transient behaviour.
The raw aluminium enclosure employs MDF/butyl constrained layer damping reinforced by steel bracing to eliminate resonances, ensuring no audible colouration. The flat on-axis response and controlled off-axis behaviour provide a smooth, detailed, lifelike presentation across musical genres, and also make Aluma suitable as a high-end studio monitor. With ultra-low nonlinear distortion, even at high SPLs, Aluma is capable of reproducing audio equally faithfully at levels suitable for the home, studio, or nightclub/venue.
Aluma ships with a wireless remote control and accepts XLR and RCA analogue inputs, as well as AES/EBU, RCA/SPDIF and Toslink digital inputs. With user-configurable equalisation and presets, calibration to any listening environment or preference is effortless.
Each Aluma speaker is assembled by hand in Berlin and individually tested before shipping, guaranteeing exceptional unit-to-unit consistency.

This atelier runs on a different kind of economy—one where your purchases fund the next piece, not shareholder dividends. Every scratch on the workbench comes from your trust; every new collection exists because someone chose to invest in slow, fragile making.
